Don't think I want to waste my time reading the book(s) now - I do hate it when I get to the end of the book and just feel annoyed with the ending or the attitudes contained in it. I suppose we all like a book which has us thinking, "That is so true!" or "Wouldn't that be great?" And you're definitely right - I need characters I like - otherwise I'm not interested in them!
